The Impact Company Turns 1!
Thank you all for coming. We had a blast celebrating our one year anniversary with you!
On 22 September 2022, The Impact Company invited friends, family, partners and clients to join us in celebrating our first year in business at Factory Berlin. We hosted a curated networking event that included a panel discussion with business leaders discussing "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in a Post-Pandemic Era" and an evening of reflection on the global progress made toward the most bold and inspiring visions of an inclusive future.

As The Impact Company, a Diversity, Audience and Culture Consultancy, we launched operations during this time to navigate organizations through the cultural shift. Since then we have worked with clients like Warner Media, Penguin Random House, Schleswig-Holsteiner Landtag, German International School of Silicon Valley, Berliner Ensemble, and others on their visions of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and how to translate them into strategies and operations.
Our panel experts included CathĂ©rine Ngoli, who is a Business Psychologist, Freelance Coach and Senior Client Partner Vaunda with many years of professional experience in the areas âEmployee and Leadership Development, Training and Organizational Developmentâ. Also Sandra Subel joined us to talk about her expertise in Diversity as Global Head of diversity and inclusion for Axel Springer SE. We also welcomed Claire Hae-Min, who is the co-founder of one.five, an eco-design start-up that builds closed and clean material loops. For a digital transformation perspective we had Krys Burnette on our panel, she gave perspective in embracing new ways of working, organizing and leading human-centered - rethinking culture of workplaces. For industry professionals, founders and business leaders, corporate innovators, and community builders alike, our panellists shared a vision for diversity and inclusion in the workplace as well as tangible actions that can be taken by companies and their leaders to realise that future.
One of the reasons we could grow as much as we have, is our fantastic network of partners. This is why we wanted to share the stage with other great DEI-focused organizations during the âpartner spotlightsâ. Here Rea Eldem, founder and CEO of In-visible put new perspectives on gender inclusivity and Yvonne Kalthöfer, head of HR at BRLO gave insights about her platform hrespect, a platform for professionals to show a clear standpoint against racism and discrimination.
Our panellists and partner spotlights provided a perfect mix between inspiration and concrete advice about how organizations can approach DEI in 2023.
After the program on stage ended, we had the chance to network, connect, enjoy and party while listening to DJ Khadijaâs amazing set.
We appreciate and thank Factory Berlin joining forces with us and our sponsors BRLO and Fritz-Kola for making this evening possible.
We simply canât wait to see what comes next in our journey and the field of Diversity, Inclusivity and Equity.
Thank you.
